Mina Ekladious was born in Cairo, Egypt, and immigrated to Kearny, New Jersey with his parents and brother at just two years old. Raised in the community he now proudly serves, Mina learned early the values of hard work, family, and service.
He currently serves as a law enforcement officer with the Kearny Police Department and as President of the Kearny Policemen’s Benevolent Association, where he advocates daily for the safety, dignity, and well-being of both residents and union members.
Now running for Hudson County Commissioner in District 9, Mina is driven by a deep commitment to give back to the community that gave his family opportunity and to represent the district’s diverse voices with integrity, respect, and unity.
